Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want every musician to be satisfied with their Sargam® instrument. Please read our policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement at no charge, provided the item has not yet been dispatched. To cancel, email support@sargam.in with your order number. Once dispatched, cancellations are not accepted.

2. Returns

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery under the following conditions:

  • The item received is damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was ordered.
  • The item is unused, in its original packaging, with all accessories intact.
  • A photo or video of the issue is shared with us within 48 hours of delivery.

Returns are not accepted for change of mind, tonal preference, or damage caused after delivery.

3. Refund Process

Once a return is approved and the item is received and inspected by our team, refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days. For COD orders, refunds are issued via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS). You will be contacted for bank details.

Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.

4. Damaged in Transit

If your instrument arrives damaged due to transit, please photograph the packaging and instrument immediately and email us within 48 hours. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

5. Warranty

All instruments carry a 6-month craftsmanship warranty against manufacturing defects. This does not cover normal wear, string breakage, or environmental damage (humidity, temperature).

6. How to Initiate a Return

  • Email support@sargam.inwith subject line: "Return Request – Order #[your order ID]"
  • Include your order number, reason for return, and supporting photos.
  • Our team will respond within 1 business day.
